Why Chose Waterhouse Solicitors

Experience

From our experience, we understand the stress and anxiety any legal issue/dispute can cause our clients. Our proactive approach in establishing an early dialogue with opponents and all other relevant parties, keeping cost at a minimum with the view to bringing any dispute to a swift conclusion, makes us stand out as “primus inter pares” – “first among equals”.

Competitive costs

Our costs approach is practical, particularly so with contentious cases: we offer an initial 5 – 10 minutes of telephone gathering of information and advice for free in civil litigation matters, whether this is about individual and business clients. Our hourly fees are very competitive and subject to circumstances, we may agree to a fixed fee in some cases or clients.

We do not undertake any work without the cost implications being fully discussed with our clients beforehand. Our clients are given the price guide, cost information and updates, particularly in civil litigation matters

Our Mission

Our purpose remains rooted in our founding or core values, which is to serve our clients’ best interest, provide human resources and a platform for good practice, fairness and equity to all, and preservation of the rule of law.

We shall continue to fight for the rights of our client, settle disputes by resolution, and only resort to adjudication where it is unavoidable, protect our clients’ assets, prevent conflict of interest and grow businesses following the rules of good practice and law. We fiercely guard our clients’ best interests and appreciate the privilege of holding their briefs as a trusted advisor.

As a practising firm that was contrived during the heart of the pandemic, we have quickly moved from the age of instruction to the age of anticipation. Nothing is impossible and as such, we are more proactive in our approaches to client issues, harness the law’s potential, and unlock possibilities others do not see.

We champion diversity, equality, innovation, and sustainability, particularly so, as we move gradually from the global financial recession into a new beginning – dawn. Our new dawn is now

Our Vision

We are driven by the values, ethos of good practice, and client’s best interest, which is why we are prepared to take the risk and seize opportunities where others would not. As a firm, we came to be at the peak of the pandemic and despite the global financial crisis, we chose to invest in the law practice to serve our clients’ best interests.

Our focus now is on five core practice areas for our private clients, but hope to incorporate legal aid funding into our family law and housing practice as soon as the opportunity arises. We remain resolute and relevant in our areas of practice despite the changes caused by the pandemic.

Our destiny lies in our hands, through hard work, investment in technology, education, research, and collaboration with third-parties where and when necessary, a vision to grow in size is achievable without lowering our standards.

Our vision is to grow in size, be relevant to our immediate environment and the world at large, remain an independent law practice, and be in control of our destiny.
